LogzAI SRL (“LogzAI”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides an AI-powered log analysis platform used across multiple industries. We are committed to handling personal data transparently, lawfully, and securely in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when Clients use the LogzAI platform and when Users interact with our services.
1. What Data We Collect
1.1 Data You Provide Directly
- Account information (name, email address, role, organization)
- Billing details (organization name, contact person, tax identifiers if applicable)
1.2 Data Collected Automatically (from Log Inputs)
The LogzAI platform processes log data defined and controlled entirely by the Client. Clients decide:
- What data to log
- Whether logs contain personal information
- How long logs are retained (within the LogzAI retention rules)
- Where logs are stored (on the client's private storage or LogzAI cloud)
LogzAI does not control the content of logs, nor do we modify, enrich, or repurpose them beyond providing the platform's functionalities.
Logs may include (depending on client configuration):
- Application logs
- System logs
- Security or access logs
- Event streams or telemetry
- Metadata that may contain personal information (IP addresses, user IDs, email addresses, etc.)
Important: LogzAI does not use client logs for training, fine-tuning, or improving AI models, unless the Client opts in through a written agreement.
1.3 Platform Usage Data
We collect limited metadata about platform usage:
- Feature interactions
- Performance diagnostics
- Error reports
- Query volume statistics
This data is pseudonymised or aggregated wherever possible.
2. How We Use the Data
2.1 Providing the Platform
We process personal data as needed to:
- Authenticate users
- Deliver analytics, search, and AI-generated insights
- Troubleshoot issues
- Ensure platform security and reliability
This is done under contractual necessity, as required by GDPR.
2.2 Platform Improvement
We may analyze aggregated, anonymised usage data to:
- Improve performance
- Enhance user experience
- Optimize system behavior
At no time do we access or use the contents of client logs for model improvement unless explicitly agreed.
2.3 No External AI Model Use
All LogzAI AI models run entirely on LogzAI-controlled servers located in the EU. We do not transmit log contents to external AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, cloud AI APIs).
3. Client Control Over Log Data
Clients are solely responsible for:
- The categories and content of logs sent to LogzAI
- Ensuring that personal data in logs is lawful and necessary
- Their own legal bases for logging activities
- Any masking, pseudonymisation, or redaction policies they apply
LogzAI acts strictly as a processor of log data and does not determine processing purposes.
LogzAI does not review, analyze, or access log data manually unless:
- The Client explicitly requests assistance
- Access is necessary to investigate a security or operational issue
- A written Data Processing Agreement permits such access
4. Storage Locations & Flexibility
Clients can choose where their logs are stored:
4.1 Client-Managed Storage (Optional)
Clients may configure LogzAI to store all logs in their own private or cloud S3-compatible buckets. LogzAI does not have access to such storage unless explicitly granted.
4.2 LogzAI-Managed EU Storage
If clients opt to use LogzAI's infrastructure:
- All servers are located exclusively within the European Union
- No data is transferred outside the EU
- All storage systems are encrypted and access-controlled
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Depending on the operation:
Contractual Necessity
- User account creation
- Access to the platform
- Log ingestion and analysis
- Technical support
Legitimate Interest
- Ensuring platform security
- Preventing fraud or abuse
- Understanding platform performance

6. How Long We Keep Data
6.1 Client Logs
Clients control the retention period for their logs, subject to the maximum retention limits included in their commercial plan. LogzAI enforces these maximum limits to ensure service performance and compliance, but does not modify Client-configured retention settings except to apply these predefined contractual caps.
6.2 Account Data
Kept for the duration of the contract + 12 months unless deleted sooner.
6.3 Usage Metadata
Aggregated or anonymised after operational use.
7. Sharing Your Data
LogzAI will never sell, rent, or share client logs with third parties.
We do not use logs for AI training. We do not transfer logs outside the EU. We do not integrate with external AI providers that require sending logs externally.
Third-party sub-processors (if any) will possess only minimal operational metadata and will be EU-based.
